Find your councilScouting America and the National Catholic Educational Association have formed a national partnership to make Scouting genuinely available to Catholic school communities that do not have it today — in a way that serves each school’s own mission rather than competing with it.
The Catholic community is one of Scouting America’s largest chartering partners. Today Scouting is present in 61 of NCEA’s member schools. Both organizations believe that number reflects the absence of a working relationship rather than any absence of fit — and this partnership exists to change it.

A school resource kit developed with Catholic educators — safeguarding and adult screening, the chartering process, religious emblems, and what Scouting looks like inside a Catholic school.
Joint announcement, shared authorship of materials, and co-hosted convenings for school leaders. Each organization approves any use of the other’s name and marks.
Each organization will open selected national convenings to the other, so the partnership is visible to both communities and not only to one.
Agreed indicators reported to both organizations on a regular cadence, including outcomes that are disappointing. A unit that does not endure is not a success for either party.
